April Grist
Owner/Teacher/Choreographer
Advance Jazz, Tap, Ballet
April is the co-owner of A&A Dance where she has been teaching A&A's Intermediate and Advance levels for the past 27 years. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Dance at Valdosta State University. During her time at Valdosta State, she was also on VSU's Red Hot Dance Team. While running the studio, she is also an Art/Yearbook/Dance teacher at Early County High School.
Amber Strickland
Owner/Teacher/Choreographer
Predance, Beginning, Intermediate Tap & Ballet
Amber is the co-owner of A&A Dance where she has been teaching Predance, Beginning, and Intermediate levels for the past 27 years. Amber is a University of Georgia graduate with a Bachelor's in Finance. She also has received her Master of Education Secondary Education Mathematics and Education Specialist Secondary Education Mathematics Teaching and Learning. Alongside running the studio, Amber is a math teacher at Early County High School.


Micahlyn Grist
Advance/Intermediate Jazz, Modern, & Hip Hop
Micahlyn is a 2026 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelors of Communication and a Minor in Dance. While at Clemson, she studied Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary. Micahlyn danced for 16 years with A&A and has been a choreographer for 8 years.
Alexa Griffin
Teacher & Choreographer
Advance Ballet & Hip Hop
Alexa trained with A&A for 15 years and has returned as a Ballet & Hip Hop instructor. Alexa also trained with Ingredients Dance Company and toured with Dance Revolution during their 2019-2020 season. Alexa is currently attending Troy University majoring in Education.


Sydney Floyd
Teacher & Choreographer
Intermediate Jazz
Sydney was a student at A&A for 13 years and has recently returned home to teach jazz. She is a former UGA Dance Dawg and graduate of the University of Georgia and University of Georgia School of Law. She works as an attorney in Blakely.
